Certified Medical Assistant - Pediatric

About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our pediatrics team. The role involves providing both patient care and administrative support under the supervision of healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and procedures based on training and competency
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Assess situations objectively, develop action plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Follow department policies and utilize resources effectively

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Certification such as CMA, RMA, CCMA, EMT-B, or Paramedic required upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• Prior pediatrics experience is a plus but not required
