Responsibilities
- Engage with patients both in person and over the phone, showcasing excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Triage patients and collect and maintain accurate health histories
- Ensure pharmaceutical reconciliations are up to date
- Obtain vital signs to assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care
- Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and autoclave tools
- Coordinate the patient's journey to wellness seamlessly
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality healthcare services
Requirements
- Certification in medical assisting (e.g., Certified Medical Assistant, RMA) or licensure in the healthcare field (e.g., EMT, LPN)
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
- Strong knowledge of casting and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) fitting
- Proficiency in orthopedic terminology
- Ability to triage medical concerns efficiently
