Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients both in person and over the phone, showcasing excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
  • Triage patients and collect and maintain accurate health histories
  • Ensure pharmaceutical reconciliations are up to date
  • Obtain vital signs to assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care
  • Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and autoclave tools
  • Coordinate the patient's journey to wellness seamlessly
  • Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality healthcare services

Requirements

  • Certification in medical assisting (e.g., Certified Medical Assistant, RMA) or licensure in the healthcare field (e.g., EMT, LPN)
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of casting and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) fitting
  • Proficiency in orthopedic terminology
  • Ability to triage medical concerns efficiently
