Peninsula Pain Clinic, the leading provider of pain management services in the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsula region, is seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant that can float between our Silverdale and Gig Harbor locations. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and reviewing current medications.
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests.

Requirements

• A year of experience in the medical field preferred.
• Must be able to travel between both Silverdale and Gig Harbor offices.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Organized and detail‑oriented.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in EMR systems and general computer use.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay

$21–$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Work schedule: Mon–Thu: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM; Fri: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
