What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Cook up clinical site partnerships and assignments for student groups in line with program objectives
- Orient students to clinical environments, equipment, protocols, and safety standards
- Demonstrate advanced clinical procedures and techniques while supervising student performance
- Monitor and assess student performance during clinical rotations, providing timely feedback and evaluation
- Collaborate with didactic faculty and clinical staff to ensure integration of theory and practice
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, public health, or a relevant area
- All experience must be paid and in the same related field
- A Medical Assistant Certificate
- Ability to manage physical demands such as lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in clinical education or student supervision
- Familiarity with accreditation standards for clinical education
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Prioritization of identifying and recommending improvements in clinical processes
- Experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on student learning outcomes
