Medical Assistant / Care Coordinator (Remote / Telehealth Concierge)

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct a high volume of telehealth intake appointments to assess patient goals and complete clinical screenings
• Manage the full telehealth scheduling lifecycle and provide technical support
• Review provider clinical notes and engage patients in their personalized care plans
• Serve as the primary problem solver for patient barriers and ensure seamless communication
• Collaborate with clinical teams and other departments to optimize patient flow and care experience

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Current and valid National Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
• Minimum of 3 years in direct patient care, care coordination, or a related field
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build trust and convey empathy
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding measurable KPIs in patient engagement and satisfaction
• Proficiency with EHR/CRM platforms, telehealth software, and remote collaboration tools

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in a role with direct daily interactions with older adults
• Familiarity with insurance/health plan benefit structures and billing terminology
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, such as fluency in Spanish
