Medical ASL Interpreter

Role: ASL Interpreter Responsibilities Provide accurate, culturally competent interpretation for Deaf and hard-of-hearing pediatric patients and families in clinical and educational settings.Support medical appointments, procedures, family conferences, and hospital programs with clear and confidential communication.Collaborate with care teams to facilitate effective understanding and interaction.Follow ethical standards and document services as required.Contribute to an inclusive, patient-centered environment focused on children’s health and well-being. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting skills.Knowledge of medical and healthcare terminology.Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and families.Strong communication, ethical standards, and confidentiality adherence.
