Medical Interpreter

About the role

Under the general supervision of the Language Services team, you will provide verbal and written interpreting and translating for Spanish‑speaking patients at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. You will also perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide verbal interpreting for Spanish‑speaking patients.
• Provide written translation of medical documents and communications.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Upon hire: National Certified Medical Interpreter – National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters, or Washington Social Services Interpreter – Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.

Pay

Base pay range: $28.83 – $44.60 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full‑time and per‑diem positions with variable shifts; multiple shifts are available.

Location: Kadlec Regional Medical Center – Richland, WA (on‑site).
