About the role
The Associate, Integrated Media Planning assists in the coordination and execution of media plans under the guidance of a Senior Associate. This role supports the development of media plans through research, audience analysis, and competitive insights, owns and maintains planning documents, trackers, and flowcharts with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, pulls and analyzes competitive research, supports budget tracking, pacing, and monthly financial reporting, communicates proactively with team members to flag questions, risks, or discrepancies, participates in internal, client, and partner meetings, builds confidence and presentation skills, collaborates cross-functionally with strategy, investment, analytics, and operations teams, demonstrates curiosity and actively builds knowledge of the media landscape and CPG space.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of media plans through research, audience analysis, and competitive insights
- Own and maintain planning documents, trackers, and flowcharts with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Pull and analyze competitive research
- Support budget tracking, pacing, and monthly financial reporting to ensure campaigns are accurately tracked, actualized, and billed
- Communicate proactively with team members to flag questions, risks, or discrepancies
- Participate in internal, client, and partner meetings, building confidence and presentation skills
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, investment, analytics, and operations teams
- Demonstrate curiosity and actively build knowledge of the media landscape and CPG space
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Apple software, such as Keynote, is a huge plus
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Knowledge of the principles of advertising, marketing, and media
- Proficiency with Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 0–1 year of relevant experience (internships included)
- Strong interest in media, advertising, consumer behaviors
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Eagerness to learn media tools, platforms, and financial processes
Benefits
California: $45,000.00-$45,000.00
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
