Responsibilities
- Media Planning, Strategy & Execution
- Translate organizational goals into effective, data-driven media strategies
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on messaging, timing, and campaign objectives
- Ensure all ads are reserved, scheduled, and delivered accurately, including correct sizing, copy, and placement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media vendors and third-party partners
- Negotiate rates and added value opportunities to maximize media spend across the organization
- Maintain organized records of vendor specifications, pricing, and performance metrics history
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Service
- Partner closely with teams across departments to understand needs, priorities, and goals
- Provide a high level of customer service by ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and reliability
- Proactively identify and resolve issues while maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Scheduling & Operations
- Manage and maintain the media calendar to ensure timely and accurate placements
- Coordinate publishing schedules with vendors and internal teams
- Implement and manage systems to streamline workflows, approvals, and media planning
- Financial Coordination
- Partner with the Operations Manager to process and track invoices
- Ensure accuracy of billing against agreed-upon placements, rates, and deliverables
- Support internal budget tracking and reconciliation for media spend
- Track and report on cost savings, added value, and efficiencies achieved through media negotiations and strategic planning
- Maintain organized documentation of all media purchases and financial records
- Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Track and report on paid media performance using relevant KPIs
- Provide post-campaign analysis and insights and utilize data to refine future media strategies
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness
- Earned Media Coordination
- Coordinate with the external PR firm and internal stakeholders to support the placement and tracking of earned media opportunities
- Ensure alignment between paid and earned media efforts where relevant
Qualifications
- BA/BS required
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with the Jewish media landscape strongly preferred
- Experience with media buying, planning, or campaign coordination
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop media plans that drive measurable results
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com
- Understanding of paid media KPIs and performance metrics
Pay & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience.
