About the role

This Media Analyst role is an entry-level position designed to launch your career in advertising. You’ll support the creation, management, and stewardship of client media plans and investments while collaborating with a cross-functional team. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, you’ll develop skills in media planning, budget management, and campaign analysis, setting the stage for long-term professional growth.

Location: Knoxville, TN

Responsibilities

  • Plan Development:
    • Assist in developing media strategies by gathering competitive data, conducting industry research, and generating audience insights
    • Contribute to strategy presentations, aiding in narrative and strategy development
  • Campaign Stewardship:
    • Create Buy Authorizations and maintain the Insertion Order tracker to monitor over/under delivery
    • Develop and maintain flowcharts, manage media budgets, and track optimizations
    • Support campaign performance reporting, identifying trends and crafting actionable insights
    • Produce competitive reporting and analysis to keep the team informed of competitor brand investments and messaging
    • Maintain communication with channel teams to ensure campaigns are live and running properly
  • Career Advancement:
    • Learn and utilize all research and planning tools, pulling information for the team as needed
    • Stay current on industry trends, sharing insights and implementing new strategies into daily work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or Marketing
  • 0-1 years of experience
  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn and adapt daily
  • Team Player: Willingness to support the team and contribute in any capacity
  • Communication Skills: Strong listening, note-taking, and professional written/verbal communication
