About the role

The Consultant will be responsible for finding unique ways to leverage open source and proprietary data for operational support and our customer's program evaluation activities. This is a multi-year project with growing potential, in which the Consultant will have the opportunity to demonstrate intellectual agility by exploring and leading cutting-edge data research design, data collection, and data analysis for a client in the US Intelligence Community, all centered around media analysis.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph required
• Working with regular expressions and developing solutions with Python
• Linux basics, Sigma, ION, Analyst Notebook
• Data Manipulation and basic Social Network Analysis
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) in one or more of the following:
  • Text preprocessing and cleaning for downstream NLP tasks
  • Information extraction
  • Named Entity Recognition (NER)
  • Identity matching
  • Text normalization
  • Automatic summarization
  • NLP evaluation
  • Machine translation
  • Machine transliteration
  • Document exploitation pipelines
  • Multilingual computing
  • Ontology management
  • Computational lexicography
• Experience in:
  • Maintaining and managing a custom language model
  • Leading qualitative research and program evaluation activities
  • Developing presentations and providing briefings to middle and senior management
  • Delivering visual representation of data using charts and graphs
  • Analyzing information and identifying implications for policy, processes, communications, and training on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Familiarity with Measures of Performance and Measures of Effectiveness (MOP/E)

Pay

The salary range for this position is $190,000–$240,000 depending on experience.
