About the role
A dedicated Med Surg RN position in a dynamic 28-bed unit. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans, utilize clinical pathways, and engage in patient education to promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in a 28-bed Med Surg unit
- Develop and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Utilize clinical pathways and engage in patient education
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, demonstrating leadership
- Communicate effectively across interdisciplinary teams
- Enhance time management skills to support team performance
- Participate in a supportive environment with an active Unit Based Council
- Adhere to unit-specific objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Level I or II Trauma experience
- Active Michigan RN license
- BLS certification
- Willingness to work every other weekend
