Med Surg Nursing - RN or LPN

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with the organization's mission and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients with common diagnoses such as infections, respiratory issues, and COVID.
• Build skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, acute medical care, and fast-paced management.
• Evaluate care quality provided by team members and collaborate across departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact license.
• BLS certification (must be current or obtained within 30 days).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks required for nursing duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree.
• Specialty certifications.
• Prior experience in similar clinical settings.
• Hospital experience.
