Nurse RN or LPN

Requirements

• A current license as an RN or LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adults with developmental and physical disabilities.
• Complete clinical assessments.
• Administer medications.
• Treatment of acute medical emergent conditions.
• Provide enteral feedings.
• Respiratory treatments and care.

Qualifications

• A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

About the Role

Merakey is a non-profit organization that provides services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position involves working on the AVS campus with 5 residential buildings and 6 group homes, supporting 107 residents. The nurse will perform various nursing tasks including clinical assessments, medication administration, and emergency care.

Schedule

Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay

• RN: $42 per hour (plus $4 shift differential)
• LPN: $33 per hour (plus $4 shift differential)
