Med Surg Nurse - Night Shift

Role: Provides direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in professional development.Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety. Qualifications RN license requiredDiploma or Associate's in Nursing; Bachelor's preferredNo experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualifications Skills & Attributes: Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
