Med Surg Nurse - Night Shift

Role Overview The registered nurse provides direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the interprofessional team, ensuring clear communication across care settings.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.Adhere to safety protocols and work in a vigilant manner, as this position is safety-sensitive. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).Current RN license; no prior experience required, but two years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree are preferred.Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
