Med Surg Clinical Nurse - Night Shift

Role Overview Provides direct patient care on a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participates in activities supporting patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development.Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Qualifications & Skills Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing and RN licensure.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices. Additional Requirements: No prior experience necessary; certification as RN. Strong communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills are essential.
