Med Surg Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

Join a dedicated nursing team on a Medical/Surgical unit providing comprehensive patient care in a reputable hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation following nursing standards.
• Promote patient- and family‑centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post‑treatment needs.
• Participate in safety, quality‑improvement, and regulatory‑compliance activities.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in Medical‑Surgical nursing is preferred; new graduates may be considered.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a safety‑sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
