About the Role
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, including patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced technology such as telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards.
- Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
- Assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members including PCNAs, interns, and providers.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure.
- BLS certification (obtained within 90 days of hire).
- ACLS certification (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- PRN positions require at least 1 year of relevant RN experience and all certifications upfront.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
