Med Surg Clinical Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care on a medical/surgical unit, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Responsibilities: Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with ongoing professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement, respecting cultural and spiritual values.Maintain a safe environment, adhering to standards of nursing care and safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: RN license required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.Experience is not mandatory; less than 2 years of experience is preferred.Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
