Med Surg Cardiac Clinical Nurse - Part Time Days

Role: Provides direct patient care within a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to promote patient safety and well-being. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards through active participation and professional development.Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.Maintains a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and alertness requirements. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN license required.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience, especially in Med Surg or Telemetry.Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
