Med Surg Cardiac Clinical Nurse - Nights

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care within a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Nurses will develop and communicate personalized care plans, assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and incorporate patient values and preferences. Responsibilities Promote a healing environment and educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and compliance.Collaborate on care planning with the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.Utilize critical nursing skills for comprehensive assessments and evaluations.Maintain safety and alertness, as this is a safety-sensitive role. Qualifications & Skills RN license.Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.Preferred: BSN degree and Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience.
