Med Surg Cardiac Nurse - Nights

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, educating them on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.Apply critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).RN licensure required; experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry is preferred, with at least two years of experience recommended.Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a healthcare environment.
