Mechanical Tech III

Responsibilities

• Checking equipment for proper operation prior to use.
• Preparation of parts for laser welding and seam seal.
• Fixturing, set up, and laser weld of microelectronic packages and components.
• Set up and parallel seam seal of microelectronic hybrid packages.
• Set up and laser marking of parts.
• Leak testing of hermetically sealed parts.
• Detection and reporting of defective materials and welds.
• Documentation of work performed.

Requirements

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, process instructions, and routers.
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer competency and English literacy.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 2 years of Mechanical Technician-microelectronic work experience

Skills

Basic computer and math skills.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $57319 - $91710

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

About the Role

This position supports our 4th Shift, Fri-Sun, 6am-6pm. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 4th Shift. Also, though you work 36 hours, you will be paid for 40 hours. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
