SCOPE: Responsible for installation, repair, diagnostics and test of military automotive Environmental Control Systems and Auxiliary Power Units, as a member of our Product Development team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Install and test automotive air conditioning systemsMechanical assembly, integration and testing of Auxiliary Power UnitsTrouble-shoot air conditioning systems & diesel engines and generators for malfunctions and diagnose problemsPerform verification and acceptance testing on development and production assemblies REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience working in machine shops or assembly shops. Preferably with a Defense contractorH.S. Diploma or GED is requiredWorking knowledge of engines, generators and related componentsMust be able to read and understand drawings and specificationsSelf-motivated and can work with little supervisionStrong analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of electrical and hydraulic a plusBasic computer skillsGood communication skillsStrong work ethic and team playerMust be able to speak/read/write EnglishMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
