Mechanical Tech

About the role

In this position you will perform the following tasks and make impacts by performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. You will perform a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies
• Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications
• Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of related work experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Must be able to lift 20-40lbs
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to follow processes and written instructions

Preferred Skills

• Secret Clearance
• Solder Experience
• Lean Manufacturing Experience

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $47,614 - $76,181

Schedule

1st shift, 4/10 Monday-Thursday
