Mechanical Systems Designer, Custom Machines & Material Handling

About the role

Design and develop custom mechanical systems and material handling solutions for Overton Tube Forming Systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for custom machines and material handling systems
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate mechanical components with other systems
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
• Prepare engineering documentation including schematics, assembly drawings, and part lists

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and material handling systems
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
