Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate craft personnel in support of the field’s fluctuating labor needs for activities related to project/systems construction and maintenance.
- Ensure all company, department, and technical policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to.
- Interpret policies as required.
- Assess crew and foremen skills and provide coaching and mentoring as necessary.
- Manage differences and diversity in the workplace, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems before they escalate into major difficulties.
- Handle administrative duties of the position, including the completion of required paperwork.
- Use time management and goal-setting effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and remain diplomatic and calm under pressure.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations as well as company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage differences and diversity in the workplace.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
- Ability to handle administrative duties of the position.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain diplomatic and calm under pressure.
- OSHA-30 certification (if not currently certified, must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire).
