Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate craft personnel in support of the field’s fluctuating labor needs for activities related to project/systems construction and maintenance.
  • Ensure all company, department, and technical policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to.
  • Interpret policies as required.
  • Assess crew and foremen skills and provide coaching and mentoring as necessary.
  • Manage differences and diversity in the workplace, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems before they escalate into major difficulties.
  • Handle administrative duties of the position, including the completion of required paperwork.
  • Use time management and goal-setting effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and remain diplomatic and calm under pressure.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations as well as company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage differences and diversity in the workplace.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
  • Ability to handle administrative duties of the position.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain diplomatic and calm under pressure.
  • OSHA-30 certification (if not currently certified, must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire).
