About the Role

As a Project Manager / Estimator, you will serve as the point of contact for our clients. You will estimate, sell, and manage commercial HVAC and Piping projects.

Responsibilities

  • Identify risks and general condition needs.
  • Develop project estimates based on plans and specifications.
  • Develop and communicate the trade-specific scope of work to all necessary parties.
  • Review and approve all documents as they relate to each project.
  • Compile a list of necessary sub-contractors.
  • Enter summary data into the recap spreadsheet.
  • Participate in post-project reviews.
  • Cooperate with others as a company resource.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a mechanical project manager and estimator.
  • Strong negotiating skills with suppliers and customers.
  • Budgeting experience.
  • Time management skills.
  • Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Advanced written, verbal, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • High-level organizational skills to perform project management responsibilities.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Ability to work well with others both internally and externally, including in stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in standard office computer programs such as MS Office 365.
  • Knowledge of the industry is recommended but not required.
  • Ability to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

Pay

$80,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
