Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work environment and culture for TPC Millwrights and other crafts.
- Facilitate Shift Starter Meetings, issue daily assignments and track progress throughout the day for TPC Millwrights.
- Provide daily update to Operation’s Production Coordinators.
- Record work order charges, manage/approve employee time entries, and ensure materials are on hand for scheduled jobs.
- Manage Priority “E” work orders and adjust scheduled work and resources as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
- Provide support to the Mechanical Planner with managing Outside Service equipment repairs and submit requisitions for materials and services when needed.
- Manage resources to support Capital Projects and Turn Around activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a maintenance/construction/manufacturing environment related to rotating equipment which includes experience in a chemical plant or refinery with abilities to execute relevant plant maintenance activities.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Computer Skills including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of an associate degree.
- Previous experience in planning and scheduling.
- Leadership Skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance/repair of all types of rotating equipment including steam turbines, compressors, gearboxes, pumps, blowers, mixers and fans.
- Ability to train/develop direct reports in all areas including personal safety, rotating equipment maintenance, and documentation quality.
- Experience with database software system, i.e. Oracle, Maximo, and Akwire to manage and support the Maintenance Work Process.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Physical Demands
Work is primarily light; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
