Mechanical Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install, and set up mechanical equipment, machines, tools, or parts
• Contribute to planning of maintenance schedules and execute respective maintenance assignments
• Analyze technical issues, complete repairs, and work orders with reference to electrical systems
• Execute ramp-up, setup, and start procedures to prepare machines and equipment for operations
• Contribute to installation projects on site and support accountable Industrial Engineers
• Support compliance of technical documentation for processes and equipment
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent combined with extensive work experience in this field
• Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, understand instructions, and write clear communications in English
• Ability to understand and operate complex machinery
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift heavy objects if required
• Must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Qualifications

• College or University degree in a technical discipline (preferred)
• Multiple years of experience operating and handling complex machinery in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience working with power tools (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred)

Pay

Salary Range: $26.20 – $30.85 per hour

2nd and 3rd shift premium available

Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid out in steps
