Mechanical Maintenance Planner

Description

The Smurfit Westrock Solvay Mill is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner to support the overall planning process for maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Craftsman or Maintenance Planner.
• Experienced and proficient with computer skills.
• Experience with an automated maintenance management system.
• Ability to read detailed equipment drawings, identify part numbers and specifications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and involve maintenance technicians in planning and scheduling process.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate activities with managers from multiple departments.
• Ability to estimate time and materials needed to accomplish a task.
• Dedication to safety.
• Organized and ability to manage time effectively.

Qualifications

• Helpful experience: Experience with an asset management system. ISO experience. JD Edwards’s software experience. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $87,000.00 - $145,000.00, depending on your role, level, and location.
The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
