About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ maintenance experience who is ready to develop their career and take on greater responsibility within a supportive engineering environment. If you're currently working as a Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Technician, or Engineering Technician and are ready for the next challenge, this could be the opportunity for you.

You'll work in a team of engineers, gaining exposure to a wide range of machinery and equipment while helping to keep our production operation running safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site facilities.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with fault finding and repairs.
• Support machinery installations, modifications, and improvement projects.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Support continuous improvement activities and help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
• Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience gained through work experience, apprenticeship, or technical role.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A proactive approach and desire to develop your engineering career.
