Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Military Affairs Location 1101 Grade Lane, Standiford Field Louisville, KY 40213 USA Description The Facilities Division is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Technician II. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following Performs technical duties in the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical systems, and associated equipment. Performs inspections to determine maintenance needs and procedures for documentation, repair, or remediation. Performs work in the maintenance and operations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment and electrical systems. Installs, repairs and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment and electrical systems. Inspects and maintains the working performance of equipment in accordance with applicable codes and manufacture specifications. Maintains records and inventory of parts and equipment for maintenance operations. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: High school graduate. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Working Conditions May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.
