About the role
The Mechanical Installation Team Lead 3 coordinates and performs installation, de-installation, relocation, and service upgrades of high-value complex equipment in hospitals, universities, and Federal Buildings. Equipment may include AXA, AXD, CT, MR, NM, and related technical paraphernalia.
Responsibilities
- Up to 100% travel throughout the country
- Follow all safety OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Deliver safe and timely installations to customers
- Maintain integrity of confidential information
- Build and maintain customer relationships while complying with PROBO SOP, customer requirements, and statutory/regulatory guidelines
- Travel to job sites and perform designated work activities
- Maintain documentation in accordance with PROBO SOP and customer requirements
- Complete PROBO and customer Quality Assurance checklists
- Represent PROBO and the customer professionally and courteously
- Provide work activity updates to the designated manager
- Oversee on-site field team
- Comply with PROBO SOP, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2008
- Provide installation training opportunities to technicians
- Oversee Quality Management of all field-related standards and compliance
- Consult with customer Project Managers on site readiness, status completeness, and out-of-scope work
- Coordinate suppliers and direct on-site deliveries of equipment
Requirements
- Must meet minimum job requirements and demonstrate top-tier performance
- Ability to lead installations for 100% of products within a modality
- Serve as a role model and trainer for the team
- Forklift certified
- Multi-modality coverage required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computation of rate, ratio, and percentage
- Ability to read Metric and Standard measurements and use leveling methods
- Provide and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s degree (A.A.), or equivalent from a two-year university/technical school
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Travel
Up to 100% travel required.
Work Environment
- Monitor and report field safety and environmental conditions in accordance with the PROBO Safety Manual
- Use both hands and fingers with dexterity
- Strong hand/eye coordination and ability to work on a ladder
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs of cables or equipment
