Mechanical HVAC Service Technician

Build Your Future with Ahern. We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical HVAC Service Technician located in Fond du Lac, WI. Ahern is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Service Technician to fulfill service work with customers in the Fond du Lac and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues, conduct preventative maintenance on chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, hot water pumps, boilers, burners, and perform combustion tuning. You will be on a rotating on-call schedule and service a wide variety of industries, including heavy industrial, commercial, schools, healthcare, and food plants.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical HVAC Service Technician, ideally working on owner-direct service work
- Universal Refrigerant certification
- Clean driving record to operate company vehicles
- Ability to travel for the position
- Pass an appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing)
Qualifications
Successful candidates must be self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment (both indoors and outdoors).
