HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain heating and cooling systems for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial applications.
• Diagnose system issues, perform repairs, and complete system testing and startup.
• Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with customers to explain system issues and verify completed repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• Two to five years of HVAC service experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing codes, industry standards, and system diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of math including basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer locations.
