About the role
We are seeking experienced electrical engineers and technicians to support data centre technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect cooling and mechanical installations
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Perform product testing, commissioning, and live cutovers
- Ensure customer acceptance and compliance with Australian standards (AS/NZS)
- Gain expertise in Delta cooling products (PAC units, in-row racks, CDU, AALC)
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues and provide remote technical support
- Provide on-site user training
- Respond to emergency callouts and offer 24/7 standby support on a rotational basis
- Act as a professional advisor and uphold safety and quality standards
- Contribute to process improvement and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with high-precision air conditioning systems
- Mechanical qualification or relevant experience
- Valid refrigeration license preferred
- Fluency in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Manual handling capability
