About the Role
Our Minneapolis Team is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders.
- Participate in preparing drawing packages including 3D modeling, detailed plans, and specifications related to a wide variety of engineering projects
- Analyze data and assist in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applications
- Participate in preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projects
- Participate in preparing detailed engineering reports and provide written and oral updates regarding the progress and completion of engineering projects
- Participate in the performance QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process for assigned projects as well as projects under development by others
- Assist in field surveys as required throughout the project life cycle
Some assignments may require visits to construction work sites and industrial facilities that are regulated by OSHA or MSHA. These sites may contain areas of limited accessibility including rough/uneven terrain, stair access, work from heights, confined spaces, mobile equipment, moving machinery, and other typical conditions.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environment

- Annual base salary in the range of $65,000 – $85,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications
