Responsibilities
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop best practices, workflows, and standard operating procedures for simulation activities.
- Collaborate with design, R&D, manufacturing, and testing teams to support product development and validation.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of mechanical simulations and structural analysis.
- Drive initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with product line management, sales, and other departments to support new product introductions and strategic initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; Higher level degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with product development lifecycle and systems engineering.
- Strong understanding of hardware components and their applications in electronics manufacturing.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience with mechanical simulations focusing on structural analysis, including linear and non-linear behavior, as well as vibration and dynamic analysis (e.g., modal, harmonic, random vibration, or transient response).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to hardware components.
- Proficiency in FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran) for both static and dynamic simulations.
