Mechanical Engineer - Energy Solutions
About the role
CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for its Energy Solutions office in Baltimore, MD. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest-growing part of the company, focusing on performance contracting, sustainable building engineering, and zero-energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct building and system audits
- Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
- Write reports on various aspects of the project
- Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm
- Desired skills: Management, Construction, Engineering Design, Energy, HVAC Design, Engineering, Auditing, Commissioning, Consulting, Mechanical Engineering
- Must have an undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- College GPA minimum of 3.39
Qualifications
- Must have current work authorization in the U.S.

- Strong background in HVAC design and commissioning
