Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for the design and development of mechanical building systems, particularly HVAC systems, while supporting project execution from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial building projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation using CAD software.
- Support mechanical system layouts, calculations, and equipment selections.
- Cook up with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project success.
- Participate in project planning and execution to maintain schedules and deliverables.
- Afford assistance with construction administration activities as required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Revit is a plus, but not required.
- Experience working on commercial building or MEP projects is advantageous.
