About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Responsibilities

• Conducts engineering studies and designs to develop solutions to complex technical problems.
• Develops and implements innovative mechanical systems solutions.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Performs detailed design and analysis of mechanical systems.
• Manages and coordinates projects from conception through completion.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with renewable energy technologies.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques.

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $84,000 per year.

Schedule
