About the role

Peter Basso Associates is a leading MEP Engineering consulting firm seeking Mechanical Engineers to join their team. The company is an employee-owned ESOP corporation known for its collaborative culture and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets such as education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use.
  • Apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to drive project success.
  • Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Use BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships.
  • Mentor and delegate to support team growth.
  • Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Embrace continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–15 years of experience in HVAC design for commercial building systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a US accredited university (or proven equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented.
