About the role
Peter Basso Associates is a leading MEP Engineering consulting firm seeking Mechanical Engineers to join their team. The company is an employee-owned ESOP corporation known for its collaborative culture and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets such as education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use.
- Apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
- Collaborate across disciplines to drive project success.
- Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills.
- Use BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- Mentor and delegate to support team growth.
- Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Embrace continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
- Minimum 7–15 years of experience in HVAC design for commercial building systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a US accredited university (or proven equivalent experience).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented.
