Mechanical Engineer

About the role

This individual would have technical experience in Navy and/or Naval Aviation systems, experience supporting design projects, experience using AutoCAD to produce 3D models, strong organizational skills and attention to details, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical design tasks as assigned by the project team, including development of drawings, reports and/or technical manuals & documents.
• Review and incorporate customer furnished information.
• Conduct site investigations in an industrial environment.
• Conduct vendor research to obtain technical information and lead time quotes for commercial parts.
• Participate in design meetings with the project team and customers.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
• Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.
• Must have 2 to 5 years of engineering experience.
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook and AutoCAD.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
