Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems for a variety of project types.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Develop and coordinate Revit-based designs and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and project management teams.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction administration activities.
• Review designs for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Support projects from conceptual design through construction completion.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience within the consulting engineering industry.
• Strong proficiency with Revit.
• Experience designing HVAC and mechanical building systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• PREFERRED:
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with mission-critical, telecommunications, industrial, commercial, institutional, or municipal projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other industry-standard design software.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on complex projects.
