What You'll Do
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve worker safety, product quality, production yields, and throughput.
- Lead the specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new capital equipment for manufacturing operations.
- Partner with manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to transition equipment from development and project stages into full-scale production.
- Design and develop new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes to support new product introductions and evolving production requirements.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and maintenance teams by troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Design, specify, and procure tooling required for product development and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with product design engineering teams to identify and implement incremental product improvements.
- Support preventative maintenance initiatives by working closely with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure established procedures, work instructions, and best practices are followed consistently.
- Manage engineering projects from planning and scope definition through execution and delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and technical specifications.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing projects from initial planning and scope definition through successful implementation and completion.
- Experience leading capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
- Familiarity with industrial facility construction is a plus.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Team-oriented mindset with an open-minded and collaborative approach to achieving business objectives.
What You'll Bring
Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with standard business hours.
