What You'll Do

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve worker safety, product quality, production yields, and throughput.
  • Lead the specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new capital equipment for manufacturing operations.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to transition equipment from development and project stages into full-scale production.
  • Design and develop new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes to support new product introductions and evolving production requirements.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and maintenance teams by troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Design, specify, and procure tooling required for product development and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product design engineering teams to identify and implement incremental product improvements.
  • Support preventative maintenance initiatives by working closely with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure established procedures, work instructions, and best practices are followed consistently.
  • Manage engineering projects from planning and scope definition through execution and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and technical specifications.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
    • 7+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven experience managing projects from initial planning and scope definition through successful implementation and completion.
    • Experience leading capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
    • Familiarity with industrial facility construction is a plus.
    • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
    • Team-oriented mindset with an open-minded and collaborative approach to achieving business objectives.

    Pay

    The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

    Schedule

    This is a full-time position with standard business hours.
