About the role
Mechanical Engineers are needed to join a dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop metal, plastic, and casted parts and assemblies using SolidWorks 3D CAD.
- Create detailed mechanical designs adhering to mechanical design principles.
- Manage supply chains, including vendor development and cost reduction strategies.
- Support the transition from prototypes to production through VAVE and other processes.
- Coordinate supply chain engineering and logistics to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively, negotiate, and manage projects successfully.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in product design, die casting, and creating metal/plastic/casted parts and assemblies.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD and strong knowledge of sheet metal and casting design.
- Proven experience in supply chain management and vendor development.
- Expertise in cost reduction strategies, VAVE, and prototype-to-production support.
- A good understanding of supply chain engineering and logistics coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Qualifications
- USC or GC only.
- VERY URGENT position.
Skills
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD and mechanical design principles.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal and casting design.
