Mechanical Drafter

This role focuses on providing engineering support for mechanical equipment in a collaborative team environment. You will work closely with engineers on design projects, conceptualizing solutions that meet company standards and HSE procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support on mechanical equipment by performing tolerance studies and checking design documentation.
• Research and specify purchased component parts to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
• Create component and system level test plans and test fixtures to validate design solutions.
• Complete basic drawing tasks and assist in calculations to support engineers on design projects.
• Conceptualize mechanical design solutions that comply with all company and HSE procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical engineering experience in a relevant environment.
• E.I.T. Engineer APEGA Certified, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D engineering software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
