Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for industrial equipment.
• Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
• Perform mechanical and structural analysis to support design decisions.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards (ASME, AWS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to bring designs from concept to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks).
• Working knowledge of mechanical and structural analysis methods (FEA a plus).
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, AWS).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team environment.
